Circus Finelli is a four-women clown troupe specializing in irreverent, cartoonish circus comedy. They are best known for their physicality, live eccentric music, and multi-lingual performance.


The clowns' performance usually falls into one of these categories:

-Theatrical Show: "Circus Finelli at Sea" is a new show currently in development. Four clowns embark acorss the open ocean facing a catastrophic storm. A slapstick circus version of classic maritime adventure. Featuring an original musical score played live on accordion, brass, strings, and a one-woman band add to elevate the everyday to extraordinary heights. Past Circus Finelli theatrical Shows include "The Slapstick Slavic Cabaret" and "Frau Bachfeifengesicht's Spectacle of Perfection".

-Variety Shows: Circus Finelli performs in as well as produces variety shows, presenting a string of individual acts including Samba Spectacles, Unicycle, Juggling, and Musical Feats of Dexterity. Circus Finelli's variety shows draw inspiration from American Vaudeville, and European Cabaret.

-Music Shows: Circus Finelli can also perform as a band with a circus slant. Instrumentation includes Luz Gaxiola on accordion, trombone, kazoo, bombast and theremin;  Mahsa Matin on guitar, trombone, trumpet and exotic percussion contraptions (www.beatfeetorchestra.com); Verka Zaskodna on vocals, duck horn, and melodica; and ukulele and backup dancing by Molly Shannon.

-Strolling Entertainment: Circus Finelli provides ambient entertainment at fairs, festivals, and special events. Small-scale interactive performance to enliven a crowd with puppetry, samba, juggling, unicycle, etc. For a more complete list of possiblities please see the "services" page.
