Circus Finelli is an all-women clown troupe specializing in irreverent, cartoonish circus comedy. They are best known for their physicality, live eccentric music, and multi-lingual performance.


The clowns' performance usually falls into one of these categories:

-Theatrical Show: "Big Time and Little Something's Big Adventure" is the story of two opportunists who come to California to make it big in Hollywood. Big Time is the boss, a voluptous tuba-wielding accordist. Little Something is the bright-eyed follower, slow-wittled and fast-footed.
Past Circus Finelli theatrical Shows include "The Slapstick Slavic Cabaret" and "Frau Bachfeifengesicht's Spectacle of Perfection".

-Variety Shows: Circus Finelli performs in as well as produces variety shows, presenting a string of individual acts including Samba Spectacles, Unicycle, Juggling, and Musical Feats of Dexterity. Circus Finelli's variety shows draw inspiration from American Vaudeville, and European Cabaret.

-Music Shows: Circus Finelli can also perform as a band with a circus slant. Molly and Luz perform as a duo with accordion and ukulele, or you can see the expanded Circus Finelli Quintet. Quintet nstrumentation includes:
Luz Gaxiola on accordion, trombone, kazoo, bombast, theremin, and feats of dexterity
Molly Shannon on ukulele, samba, and acrobatics
Verka Zaskodna on vocals in seven five languages, duck horn,melodica, and knife juggling
Mahsa Matin on guitar, unicycle, hat tricks, and exotic percussion contraptionsm www.beatfeetorchestra.com); 
Juliana Frick on stand-up bass, vocals, and acrobatics

-Strolling Entertainment: Circus Finelli provides ambient entertainment at fairs, festivals, and special events. Small-scale interactive performance to enliven a crowd with puppetry, samba, juggling, unicycle, etc. For a more complete list of possiblities please see the "services" page.
